Jazz great Karl Malone told the Dallas Morning News the Mavericks are one of the leading contenders for his services next season.

"[The Mavericks] definitely are high on the list," Malone said. "And I don't have a very long list, either."

Just a littllllllle too late for Malone to help contribute to the Mavs now what they really need, rebounding. They dont need his points, but could of used those boards if he was just a few years younger.

Guys, the only thing the Mavs need is more rebounding and defense underneath. They dont need any more scoring help. If this was the scenario about 3-4 years ago, it would be perfect for Dallas.......and Malone, when he was still solid on the boards.
